Bifocal Sun Readers Spring Hinge Sunglasses Eye Glasses GunMetal 3.00

Want readers you can wear out in the sun? This great looking bi focal sunglass is sleek and has a low profile, ideal for those that spend time outdoors. Unlike most other bifocal readers, these have tinted lenses. The bifocal lens is set below the eye line, so that you have a clear field of vision when you are looking forward and have the magnification of the bi-focal lens when you look down. They're good for fishing when you need to tie or bait your hook, reading the golf scorecard or for reading outdoors. The bifocal lenses are discreet and nearly invisible to others. These optical quality frames can easily be RX'd with your own prescription lens. Features spring hinges for a perfect fit, adjustable and replaceable optical nose pads, a gunmetal frame, and driver's aspheric lenses that provide 100 percent UV protection. The diopter has a 3.00 magnification power. Measures 35mm tall, 146mm long, and 133mm wide. Comes with a black mesh case. Unisex one size fits all.

Reviewer: Jim L (Plainfield, IL)

I drive for a living and must have bi-focals to read delivery tickets. Used to buy HD Readers, they are plastic frames and always crack. Many times just a few weeks after buying them. These metal frames with spring hinge arms are just like my prescription glasses & I'm sure will outlast plastic many times over. My only complaint is I would like the reading area to be a little wider, it's a bit narrower than what i am used too.

Really nice glasses! I like having the diopter below my normal viewing range. Perfect for driving. I ordered my first pair and a lens was loose. It kept falling out when I cleaned the glasses. However, because I really liked them, I gave them a second chance and ordered another pair. These have been great. I have no complaints now.

4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Pretty Good Product, 6.23.2011
Reviewer: Cindy Fox (St. Louis, MO)

The sunglasses fit well, offer good protection from the sun, and the reader bifocal does not get in the way of normal vision most of the time. However, the lenses scratch easily and were ruined within a few weeks, even though I keep the glasses in a case when I'm not wearing them.

I prefer to try on glasses before buying but don't have that option where I live. These glasses actually look better in person. They are sturdy and comfortable. Lenses are clear and the 1.5 magnification looks right. I use them for driving and they work great to let me see the road and the dash panel with clarity. A good purchase and I plan to order a second pair cause it's only a matter of time before I sit on these.
