The Uvex Genesis is the ultimate in ballistic safety eyewear exceeding ANSI & CSA velocity tests. It has a strong, yet lightweight frame. The temples can be extended for a perfect fit. Fingered nose pads and cushioned brow bumper provide even more comfort. The espresso-colored ballistic lenses are 2.8mm thick, meet and or exceed ANSI Z87.1, Z94.3 safety standards and military VO standard. Measures 49 mm tall, 144 mm long, and 133 mm wide. Authorized Protective Eyewear List (APEL) Made in USA.

Great sunglasses, 11.3.2010

I got them for driving. Some dashboard items in my car are liquid crystal, which dissappear when wearing polorized sunglasses. I've considered several other makes of un-polarized sunglasses (hard to find these days) all of which very expensive, not the lense color I wanted and/or not a style that I liked. These sunglasses fit the bill perfectly.
